My post on Thanksgiving eggnog was popular, so here is the same recipe for holiday eggnog or Christmas egg nog. Add 1.5 oz of bourbon whiskey per pint (16 oz) – about a 1 to 10 ratio for the perfect mix. It cuts the super sweetness of the nog. I suppose that some other kind of whisky or vodka might work just as well, but the different alcohol levels might require some tinkering with the ratio. I will try different mixtures of rum as well, but I’d suggest unspiced rum if you give that a try.
